I left the guild today due to the fact that there was very little point in being in it. The guild seemed to be mainly filled with high level peeps which meant there was no one to rvr with or do pq with.

There was also no social interaction to speak of in game now if this was because every one is in voip I don't know but it didnt do any thing for making the guild feel like a friendly and social place to hang out. Add to this that I was ignored every time I said hi or asked if there was any thing going on in T2.

I really felt that I was just being used to grind cash for the guild as not once was a bit of help offered. And when I offered to stick some items in the guild bank I was told to keep them greens out of my bank and that the guild bank was for level 40 stuff only.

So I have to ask if the guild only wants to help out level 40 why the [Explitive Deleted] invite low level toons.

What guild are you talking about? ascension or the one banner?

People were chatty enough in The One Banner, I guess Ascension are a different matter if thats the one you are talking about

Like Aero said, The One Banner (our original guild) was quite friendly and fairly active with quite a few people under 40 (including some alts). Ascension is a much larger guild, with most people at level 40, and quite focussed on RvR (and end-game dungeons). Since they were part of our Alliance and we teamed with their players most of the time (at least those at level 40), they offered us to merge guilds (we were already using their Vent server). We asked our players, and the majority decided to give it a try, so that's why we went ahead with it. To be honest I was a bit concerned that they had a less casual attitude than we (TOB) did, but people wanted to try it and see, although we did keep TOB alive in case the merge didn't work out. So I'm sorry your experience was bad there Rocky, but we had to go with the majority of the regular players wanted (which really doesn't include anyone from the 1AT atm except for occasional visits by Beety). I don't think they were 'robbing you of your gold', guild taxes are pretty standard (we had 25% they use 30% I think), but I agree some of their players might not be paying much attention to new players, or those under-40. Another option if you're looking for a guild is to join Beards & Ears which was the 3rd guild in our Alliance and is a smaller and more casual one (a bit like TOB really). Although because levelling to 40 is fairly quick, I don't know how many active players they have in T2. I'm not playing WAR much atm, so I'm a bit outside the loop now tbh.

Im ingame at the mo and Ascensions Tax rate is 35%, not that I care one way or the other, I am just letting you know.

I hadn't noticed how quiet guild chat is yesterday as I was concentrating on RVR Scenarios but I think I may leave at some point too if the guild is all 'end game focused' as I am not that kind of player in the slightest.

I will pimp myself on the official boards for a casual player guild, it's a shame the 1AT doesn't have a presence in WAR

we could start our own call it suns of sigmar and make it an all empire guild. I like theme guilds there way more fun than hardcore.

Going to see If I can get this all empire guild started on me own then. I'm in a all Dwarf guild at the mo with my Engineer and Iron Breaker.

I left that guild and joined 'Rock Paper Sigmar' as an RL friend is a member. I will certainly prepare for the coming of the sporkypaste
