Anyone else get the email informing them of i17, Double XP and Spring Fling? Yes Spring Fling that has been active for nearly two weeks now.
There's a certain charm regarding an email thats always late. Reminds me of work.

Just happened to set my graphics settings up to, er, more than "Very High".

Have you tried logging on again?
If you did, did you try creating a new villain?

I logged on earlier to find that my FPS with all the new shiney switched on was 5.
Awesome.

And as I've said a couple of times here and elsewhere, Ultra Mode is NOT a binary switch.
All the new bits have various settings so that you can tune your Ultra Mode Settings to suit your computer and tastes regarding FPS. You can have it run slower, but prettier, or faster but not quite as pretty.
If you're still having FPS issues, then you can turn it all off and still play the exact same game as everyone else.
You'll need a new or newish pretty high spec PC to run with everything maxed out. And that includes CPU as well as GPU, as the CPU gets hit harder by all the new shinies. |
